Birmingham Mail - News - Top Stories - Birmingham dad reveals how son was shot in attack by B515 gang: "BIRMINGHAM dad has told how his son was gunned down in a horrific street attack which he claimed was carried out by a gang that has terrorised city residents and attacked police cars.
Michael Travers said his son, Kirt, aged 22, was left fighting for life after being shot in the back in broad daylight by members of the B515 gang.
Talking exclusively to the Birmingham Mail, the 52-year-old machine driver from Ladywood, also described the shocking injuries his son suffered when the bullet ricocheted through his body.
The horrific aftermath of the attack was captured by documentary makers who were filming motorbike paramedics.
Earlier this month the Mail revealed that the police and city council had cracked down on the 40-strong B515 street gang after a catalogue of complaints from embattled residents living around Highgate, Southacre and Lee Bank."
