Man Killed; Search On For Gunmen - Orlando News Story - WESH Orlando: "DeLand Police Department said the man, identified as 35-year-old Darakka Javon Smith, was shot in the 500 block of East Walts Avenue just after 8:30 p.m.
The victim was in his front yard when three masked gunmen pulled up in a car, stopped, opened fire and fled the scene, investigators said.
'I saw gun fire from one side and I saw gunfire from the other side,' neighbor Latricia Small said.
Authorities said they were described as being three black men wearing masks to conceal their identity.
'Something told me to drive down there and I did. He was already dead on the front lawn. His sister put a sheet over him,' Small said.
Deputies tried to track the men with K-9s and searched the area with the Sheriff's helicopte"
